<p>
	so we were excited to start using Windows 11
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage" alt="203019149_4005881279498173_1440142851378" data-imageproxy-source="http://www.nickpar.dyndns.org/uploads/files/1/Graphics/203019149_4005881279498173_1440142851378351703_n.jpg" src="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://www.nickpar.dyndns.org/uploads/files/1/Graphics/203019149_4005881279498173_1440142851378351703_n.jpg&amp;key=42b1f63338a87fcad74b67c2ee750839c2b60e4901b1a8cf4e4941bd7a0ee38c" />
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	and the issue when using VmWare workstation was only one - no network
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	So i tried updating using tethered mobile connection, then used hardware ID to find another driver as Vmware tools did not solve this
</p>

<p>
	<img class="ipsImage" alt="202530686_4005311279555173_7941098035554" data-imageproxy-source="http://www.nickpar.dyndns.org/uploads/files/1/Graphics/202530686_4005311279555173_7941098035554959539_n.jpg" src="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://www.nickpar.dyndns.org/uploads/files/1/Graphics/202530686_4005311279555173_7941098035554959539_n.jpg&amp;key=36f2cd2dba6786b9372022cab09f73d145334a1ae193adafc8af4110b1348854" />

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	and nothing
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Worse is, i installed on KVM and all worked flawlessly ...
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	so the problem was easy to solve in the end:
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	edit VMX add the following:
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	ethernet0.addressType = "generated"<br />
	ethernet0.virtualDev = "vmxnet3"
</p>

<p>
	ethernet0.present = "TRUE"
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	voila

		Windows 10 lets you 'schedule' a reboot for later. I want to disable it.
	</p>

	<p>
		Evidently Windows scheduled itself for a reboot last night when I wasn't looking and just closed everything I had been working on the night before.
	</p>

	<p>
		I reboot on the regular; I don't need Windows to do that for me.
	</p>

	<p>
		Can I disable it completely? I don't mind if it downloads everything, and then says "hey, you should reboot," but it should never reboot itself, ever.
	</p>

	<p>
		I'm using the "Pro" edition of Windows 10.

			<p style="margin-bottom:25px;margin-top:0px;">
				Windows 10 is an advanced OS that includes an extensive list of great features, but its tendency to reboot automatically to apply new updates is not one of them.
			</p>

			<p style="margin-bottom:25px;">
				Although updates are necessary to ensure your device are in line with the latest improvements and security patches, if you don't restart soon enough, Windows 10 will eventually reboot automatically to finish applying updates. It simply isn't a good user experience.
			</p>

			<p style="margin-bottom:25px;">
				In an attempt to mitigate this issue, in the Anniversary Update, Windows 10 introduced<span> </span><a href="https://www.windowscentral.com/how-configure-active-hours-avoid-windows-10-sudden-restarts-during-updates" style="background-color:transparent;color:inherit;text-decoration:none;border-bottom:2px solid rgb(0,172,242);" rel="external nofollow">Active Hours</a><span> </span>to prevent installing updates while you're actively working on your computer. However, this won't stop Windows 10 from restarting during off hours, which can be a problem if you typically leave your computer in the middle of a task for an extended period.

<p>
	Now this may be very simple for some, others might not know what to do about database issues- so Ill explain in a quick post.
</p>

<p>
	I logged in this morning and noticed my RAM usage was very high, (<strong>91%</strong> on the resource monitor, compared to normal 71%). I hit Crtl-Shift-Esc and went to processess and my top two memory usage processes were SQL Server. The top one was using <span style="text-decoration:underline;">1,540,736 K</span>, with the second around <span style="text-decoration:underline;">600 K</span>. That is a lot.
</p>

<p>
	Right click on the top one, and select Go To Service. This one is <strong>MICROSOFT##SSEE </strong>and the second is <strong>SBSMONITORING</strong>. I know from past experience that <strong>SBSMONITORIN</strong>G can get out of control, but in my opinion 600,000 K is not bad. There is a good post on running a script that will clean up and compact the SBSMONITORING database <a href="http://www.smallbizserver.net/Default.aspx" rel="external nofollow">here</a> (Smallbizserver.net- one of my favorite sites, but you will have to find the post yourself).
</p>

<p>
	In this instance, I do not really care about <strong>SBSMONITORING</strong>. But the <strong>MICROSOFT##SSEE</strong> is really high, and I have never seen that before.
</p>

<p>
	Now I am no DBA, but I DO know that limiting a database will affect performance. I also know that if the database was using that much memory, it probably had reason. It could be a memory leak, but I do not think so in this instance, because it is just running all of the default services. Do a <a href="http://www.google.com" rel="external nofollow">Google search</a> on SQL Server memory leaks for more information.
</p>

<p>
	So in this case, I do not want to limit the database. Ill restart it and see what happens. <em>Start&gt;Administrative Tools&gt;Services</em>. Right click and restart <strong>Windows Internal Database</strong>. Voila! it is now hovering around 158,000 K. Thats a lot better than 10x that. And by only restarting it, I did not limit the database should it NEED much more ram, perhaps when it is synchronizing WSUS or something.
</p>

<div style="width:310px;">
	<a href="https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/sqlprocess.jpg" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="SQL Process" height="213" src="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/sqlprocess.jpg?w=300%26h=213&amp;key=0d27149c5c1d7cad283565651073364a99bba251f101d7aaefd6dd2727b33084" srcset="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/sqlprocess.jpg?w=300%26h=213&amp;key=0d27149c5c1d7cad283565651073364a99bba251f101d7aaefd6dd2727b33084 300w, https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/sqlprocess.jpg?w=598%26h=426&amp;key=ca9b6c928a9d60cceb6ec21aa3d72f58e55bcab8f0384ae494717184226c6f65 598w, https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/sqlprocess.jpg?w=150%26h=107&amp;key=4a7aaafe03387d87cee7392f7aec59eb661aaeafa8712fd49c5015c3146844fa 150w" title="sqlprocess" width="300" data-imageproxy-source="https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/sqlprocess.jpg?w=300&amp;h=213" /></a>

	<p>
		SQL Process
	</p>
</div>

<p>
	Might as well restart <strong>SBSMONITORING</strong> as well- yep, that knocked the RAM usage of that one down a few notches, though not as dramatically as the first.
</p>

<p>
	So, I want to do this regularly, but I do not want to remember to restart these manually. They get restarted when the server reboots, but I TRY to minimize those as well. We can write it into a VERY simple batch script.
</p>

<p>
	Open up Notepad. Enter the following:
</p>

<div>
	<div>
		<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
			<tbody>
				<tr>
					<td>
						<div>
							1
						</div>

						<div>
							2
						</div>

						<div>
							3
						</div>

						<div>
							4
						</div>
					</td>
					<td>
						<div>
							<div>
								<code>net stop mssql$sbsmonitoring</code>
							</div>

							<div>
								<code>net start mssql$sbsmonitoring</code>
							</div>

							<div>
								<code>net stop mssql$microsoft##ssee</code>
							</div>

							<div>
								<code>net start mssql$microsoft##ssee</code>
							</div>
						</div>
					</td>
				</tr>
			</tbody>
		</table>
	</div>
</div>

<p>
	Save the file as a text file on the root of some drive, or if you have a folder for scripts. I keep mine in <em>D:\Scripts\</em>.
</p>

<p>
	I go to the new text file location, and change the .txt to .bat
</p>

<p>
	Now we have a file that when it is run, stops both SQL database services and starts them one at a time. This will not cause system damage, nor damage the databases- as limiting the RAM might have. Let’s give the script a test run to make sure it works:
</p>

<div style="width:310px;">
	<a href="https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/script.jpg" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="Restart Script" height="147" src="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/script.jpg?w=300%26h=147&amp;key=f11837a03ac6aeec3e9b430888aec444e46f9cf3ad51c08657fa3481e2e11ab9" srcset="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/script.jpg?w=300%26h=147&amp;key=f11837a03ac6aeec3e9b430888aec444e46f9cf3ad51c08657fa3481e2e11ab9 300w, https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/script.jpg?w=600%26h=294&amp;key=6bbd63c19de776d48962dd1a4c4bb67c725630da6e928bba48444786c55b25fc 600w, https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/script.jpg?w=150%26h=74&amp;key=0f77ae4678d785f323d83e3dbe701a65066cb61427a5b51295e5049ee153948e 150w" title="script" width="300" data-imageproxy-source="https://chrisdill.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/script.jpg?w=300&amp;h=147" /></a>

	<p>
		Restart Script
	</p>
</div>

<p>
	Navigate to the file location from a command prompt, and run the batch file. If the results look like this, then you are good. Now we need to automate this script. So, we will use scheduled tasks to enable this script to run once a week. Could be twice a week, but I think running this Monday morning will be nice.
</p>

<p>
	<em>Start&gt;Administrative Tools&gt;Task Scheduler</em>.
</p>

<p>
	Right click <strong>Task Scheduler Library</strong>, and click New Task.
</p>

<p>
	Give the task a name and description. In my case I named is Restart SQL.
</p>

<p>
	Select the radio button to run the task if no one is logged on.
</p>

<div style="width:310px;">

	" Is it not possible to use wildcards in the Exchange 2007 Message Tracking Assistant? My boss asked me to look for all messages from a particular vendor, and so I put her email address in Recipients, then put *@godaddy.com in the Sender field, and clicked Next. Is this not possible? It seems like a functionality you'd expect to be there - am I just formatting something wrong? "
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>

</p>

<div>
	<p>
		Nope, both the sender and recipient fields can only be complete smtp addresses, it is not possible to search using wildcards.
	</p>

	<p>
		If you want to do that you will need to search the log files manually using something like notepad++ (which can search multiple files at once which should help!).
	</p>

		From the Exchange Management Shell, run the following command:

	<div>
		<div>
			Powershell
		</div>

		<pre>
<span>Get-MessageTrackingLog</span> <span>-EventId</span> <span>"RECEIVE"</span> <span>-Start</span> <span>"5/1/2015 12:00:00 AM"</span> <span>-End</span> <span>"5/31/2015 11:59:59 PM"</span> <span>-ResultSize</span> <span>unlimited</span> <span>|</span> <span>where</span> <span>{</span><span>$_</span><span>.</span><span>Sender</span> <span>-like</span> <span>"*@godaddy.com"</span><span>}</span>
</pre>

	<p>
		This will search everyone's mailbox on your Exchange server for all emails from anyone at GoDaddy.com between May 1, 2015 and May 31, 2015 and display them.  You can add specific recipients to your command by specifying -Recipients:<a href="mailto:username@domain.com" rel="">username@domain.com</a> anywhere before the pipe ("|").

	<p>
		In enterprise environments, documents and other file types are often located on central file server and users open their documents directly from there. Sometimes, server administrators need to update such files, but can’t because at least one user is using it and locking the file.
	</p>

	<p>
		You could of course just reboot the server and the file would be unlocked, but that might be overkill as you are throwing everybody out.
	</p>

	<p>
		Luckily, there is a tool on the server, that lets you selectively unlock files, here is how to do it:
	</p>

	<ol><li>
			On Windows 2008 R2 Server, click Start and type <strong>Share and Storage Management</strong> and press Enter<br /><a href="http://www.basics.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/clip_image0021.jpg" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="clip_image002" border="0" height="204" src="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://www.basics.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/clip_image002_thumb1.jpg&amp;key=04f27775622b57600bd2a34a0bfec29b7f3dd005920b43622b62ccfa5d6cc1f9" style="border-right-width:0px;border-top-width:0px;border-bottom-width:0px;border-left-width:0px;" title="clip_image002" width="489" /></a>
		</li>
		<li>
			In the right pane, click <strong>Manage Open Files</strong><br /><a href="http://www.basics.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/clip_image0027.jpg" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="clip_image002[7]" border="0" height="126" src="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://www.basics.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/clip_image0027_thumb.jpg&amp;key=5f2c07b702e823201dfd17252dd415df16b13823ad99c1431cfbac96693c9633" style="border-bottom:0px;border-left:0px;border-top:0px;border-right:0px;" title="clip_image002[7]" width="244" /></a>
		</li>
		<li>
			Click <strong>Close Selected</strong><br /><a href="http://www.basics.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/clip_image0029.jpg" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="clip_image002[9]" border="0" height="107" src="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://www.basics.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/clip_image0029_thumb.jpg&amp;key=7c48bc44fdb2ffedc768ca4d772e56ea5ce1a2eb18fbd911a6c45a0623e220fc" style="border-bottom:0px;border-left:0px;border-top:0px;border-right:0px;" title="clip_image002[9]" width="244" /></a>
		</li>
		<li>
			Click <strong>Yes</strong> to confirm
		</li>
	</ol><p>
		Be aware that users of that file might lose data.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		The fix is to run Set-ExecutionPolicy and change the Execution Policy setting.
	</p>

	<pre>
Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope Process -ExecutionPolicy Bypass</pre>

	<p>
		<a href="http://tritoneco.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/PS1-Set-Execution-Policy.png" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="PowerShell Set-ExecutionPolicy" height="56" src="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://tritoneco.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/PS1-Set-Execution-Policy-300x56.png&amp;key=0fe4f734393c9cbf70fb0a06e8b3655da71e86711f4708c995a80c5bbfbdc96c" srcset="https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://tritoneco.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/PS1-Set-Execution-Policy-300x56.png&amp;key=0fe4f734393c9cbf70fb0a06e8b3655da71e86711f4708c995a80c5bbfbdc96c 300w, https://designhost.gr/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://tritoneco.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/PS1-Set-Execution-Policy.png&amp;key=3530c832225a25ec33733d0922264767532a5faaeccf634a4d71c3374bcc472d 843w" width="300" /></a>
	</p>

	<p>
		This command sets the execution policy to bypass for only the current PowerShell session  After the window is closed, the next PowerShell session will open running with the default execution policy.  “Bypass” means nothing is blocked and no warnings, prompts, or messages will be displayed.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		Possible values for the -ExecutionPolicy parameter:
	</p>

	<p>
		— Restricted: The default setting which does not load configuration files or run scripts.
	</p>

	<p>
		— AllSigned: Requires that all scripts and configuration files be signed by a trusted publisher, including scripts that you write on the local computer.
	</p>

	<p>
		— RemoteSigned: Requires that all scripts and configuration files downloaded from the Internet be signed by a trusted remote publisher.
	</p>

	<p>
		— Unrestricted: Loads all configuration files and runs all scripts. If you run an unsigned script that was downloaded from the Internet, you are prompted for permission before it runs.
	</p>

	<p>
		— Bypass: Nothing is blocked and there are no warnings or prompts.
	</p>

	<p>
		— Undefined: Removes the currently assigned execution policy from the current scope, returning the session to the default.  This parameter will not remove an execution policy that is set in a Active Directory Group Policy.
	</p>

	<p>

		Introduction
	</h1>

	<p>
		Windows Server has powered a generation of organizations, from small businesses to large enterprises. No matter what your role in IT, you can be guaranteed you that have touched Windows Server at some point in your career or at very least you have seen it from afar! This book introduces you to Windows Server 2016, which is the next version of Windows Server. No matter what your area of expertise, this book will introduce you to the latest developments in Windows Server 2016.
	</p>

	<p>
		Each chapter has been written by either field experts or members of the product group, giving you the latest information on every improvement or new feature that is included in this version of Windows Server. This information will help you to prepare for Windows Server 2016 and give you the means to develop and design a path to introduce Windows Server 2016 into your environment and take full advantage of what is to come. This book is being written at a time when the product is still evolving and it should be noted that things might change or not appear in the final version of Windows Server 2016 when released. All guidance in the chapters is meant to be tried and evaluated in a test environment; you should not implement it in a production environment.
	</p>

	<p>
		This book assumes that you are familiar with key concepts surrounding Windows Server (i.e., Microsoft Hyper-V, Networking, and Storage) as well as cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure. In this book, we cover a variety of concepts related to the technology and present scenarios with a customer focus, but it is not intended as a how-to or design manual. You can use other sources, including the online Microsoft resources, to stay up to date with the latest developments on the roles and features of Windows Server 2016. The online resources will also contain the latest how-to procedures and information about designing a Windows Server 2016 infrastructure for your business.
	</p>

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	When trying to free up space, customers frequently have questions about moving WSUS Content and Databases to different partitions. Our objective is to explain three things:
</p>

<ul><li>
		How to move the WSUS Content
	</li>
	<li>
		How to move the WSUS Database files
	</li>
	<li>
		How to cleanup the WSUS Database
	</li>
</ul><p>
	Start by checking the size of the Volumes by looking at the Server Storage. Open <b>SBS Console</b> and select the <b>Backup and Server Storage </b>Tab. Next, select <b>Server Storage</b> to determine the space available on each partition. When highlighting the C: drive you’ll see the size of the different components that you may wish to move with the Storage Wizards. Today we will focus on moving the WSUS Components. Under the Storage Task the <b>Move Windows Update Repository Data</b> Wizard only moves the downloaded content. This will not move the WSUS Metadata or SUS database (SUSDB.mdf and SUSDB.ldf).
</p>

</p>

<p style="width:579px;">
	Serva is a light (~3 MB), yet powerful Microsoft Windows application. It was conceived mainly as an <strong>Automated PXE Server Solution Accelerator. </strong>It bundles on a single exe all of the underlying server protocols and services required by the most complex PXE network boot/install scenarios simultaneously delivering <em><strong> Windows</strong></em> and <em><strong>non-Windows</strong></em> assets to <strong><em>BIOS</em></strong> and <strong><em>UEFI</em></strong> based targets.
</p>

<p style="width:579px;">
	It includes proxyDHCP and a <em>WAIK (Windows Automated Install Kit) </em>and <em>ADK (Assessment and Deployment Kit) </em>independent RIS and WDS server alternative.
</p>

<p style="width:579px;">
	Serva's application field also tackles the ultra-fast set-up of simple single-protocol solutions like i.e. HTTP, FTP or TFTP server for file delivery.
</p>

<p style="width:579px;">
	The application does not require installation, it does not require Internet connection, it does not save keys on your Windows registry, and it can be used right away. Serva includes a very simple and comprehensive interface that will quickly guide you through all its settings.
</p>

<p style="width:579px;">
	Serva is a full C/C++ multi-threaded application that runs from <em>Windows 2000</em> to <em>Windows 10</em>.

<p>
	By forcing users to change their passwords from time to time, password expiration helps IT admins ensure the safety of passwords to a great extent. But remote users like OWA and VPN users have no way of knowing when their Active Directory passwords will expire, as Windows will only let users who are directly connected to the corporate network know about their password expiry. Users with expired passwords will result in an increased number of help desk calls, productivity losses and frustration for everyone involved. So how do you avoid help desk calls related to password expiry?

</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Το βιβλίο είναι διαθέσιμο online δωρεάν, όπως άλλωστε έχουμε συνηθίσει και από τις προηγούμενες εκδόσεις, αποτελείται από 108 σελίδες (μέγεθος αρχείου 5MB) και συγγραφέας του ebook είναι ο Mitch Tulloch μαζί με άτομα της ομάδας που εργάζονται στον Windows Server 2012. Η συγκεκριμένη έκδοση του βιβλίου εστιάζει περισσότερο στις αλλαγές της Preview έκδοσης του Windows Server 2012 R2, ωστόσο τους επόμενους μήνες θα εμπλουτιστεί με ακόμη περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες μετά την κυκλοφορία της RTM έκδοσης.

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Δείτε πώς να απενεργοποιήσετε το αυτόματο άνοιγμα του Server Manager κάθε φορά που κάνετε είσοδο στο λογαριασμό σας στον Windows Server 2012 R2.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Ο Server Manager αποτελεί ένα πολύ χρήσιμο εργαλείο του Windows Server 2012 R2 που δίνει τη δυνατότητα στους system administrators να εγκαθιστούν, να παραμετροποιούν και να διαχειρίζονται τους ρόλους και τις δυνατότητες ενός server. Ωστόσο, έχει την «ενοχλητική» συμπεριφορά να ανοίγει αυτόματα το παράθυρο του Server Manager κάθε φορά που κάνετε σύνδεση στο λογαριασμό σας.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	<img alt="Απενεργοποίηση του Server Manager κατά τη σύνδεση στον Windows Server 2012" height="460" src="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-01.png" srcset="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-01.png 640w, http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-01-300x216.png 300w" width="640" /></p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Αν και δεν αποτελεί ιδιαίτερο πρόβλημα για τους περισσότερους, προσωπικά το βρίσκω λιγάκι ενοχλητικό να «πετάγεται» το παράθυρο του Server Manager κάθε φορά που κάνω σύνδεση με remote desktop. Γι’ αυτό και η απενεργοποίησή του αυτόματου ανοίγματος είναι μία από τις πρώτες παραμετροποιήσεις που κάνω σε κάθε server που διαχειρίζομαι.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Υπάρχουν 3 τρόποι για να απενεργοποιήσετε το αυτόματο άνοιγμα του Server Manager κατά τη σύνδεση στον Windows Server 2012 R2 τους οποίους θα δείτε παρακάτω.
</p>

<ul><li style="text-align:center;">
		Χρησιμοποιώντας τον Server Manager
	</li>
	<li style="text-align:center;">
		Χρησιμοποιώντας το GPEdit.msc για local GPO ή GPMC για GPO
	</li>
	<li style="text-align:center;">
		Χρησιμοποιώντας τον Task Scheduler
	</li>
</ul><h2 style="text-align:center;">
	Χρησιμοποιώντας τον Server Manager
</h2>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Στο παράθυρο του Server Manager, ακολουθήστε τη διαδρομή <strong>Manage</strong> – <strong>Server Manager Properties</strong>
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	<img alt="Απενεργοποίηση του Server Manager κατά τη σύνδεση στον Windows Server 2012" height="313" src="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-02.png" srcset="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-02.png 640w, http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-02-300x147.png 300w" width="640" /></p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Στο παράθυρο που θα εμφανιστεί, ενεργοποιήστε την επιλογή <strong>Do not start Server Manager automatically at logon</strong> και πατήστε στο κουμπί <strong>OK</strong>.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	<img alt="Απενεργοποίηση του Server Manager κατά τη σύνδεση στον Windows Server 2012" height="260" src="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-03.png" srcset="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-03.png 562w, http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-03-300x139.png 300w" width="562" /></p>

<h2 style="text-align:center;">
	Χρησιμοποιώντας το gpedit.msc για local GPO ή GPMC για domain GPO
</h2>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Ανοίξτε την κονσόλα διαχείρισης Group Policy μέσω του <strong>gpedit.msc</strong> για local GPO ή μέσω του <strong>GPMC</strong> (Group Policy Management Console) για domain GPO και ακολουθήστε τη διαδρομή: <strong>Computer Configuration</strong> – <strong>Administrative templates</strong> – <strong>System</strong> – <strong>Server Manager</strong>.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	<img alt="Απενεργοποίηση του Server Manager κατά τη σύνδεση στον Windows Server 2012" height="224" src="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-04.png" srcset="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-04.png 640w, http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-04-300x105.png 300w" width="640" /></p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Ανοίξτε το policy setting <strong>Do not display Server Manager automatically at logon</strong> και τικάρετε την επιλογή <strong>Enabled</strong>.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	<img alt="Απενεργοποίηση του Server Manager κατά τη σύνδεση στον Windows Server 2012" height="587" src="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-05.png" srcset="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-05.png 640w, http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-05-300x275.png 300w" width="640" /></p>

<h2 style="text-align:center;">
	Χρησιμοποιώντας τον Task Scheduler
</h2>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Ανοίξτε τον Task Scheduler και ακολουθήστε τη διαδρομή <strong>Task Scheduler Library</strong> – <strong>Microsoft</strong> – <strong>Windows</strong> – <strong>Server Manager</strong>. Στο δεξί πλαίσιο, πατήστε δεξί κλικ στην εργασία <strong>ServerManager</strong> και επιλέξτε <strong>Disable</strong>.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	<img alt="Απενεργοποίηση του Server Manager κατά τη σύνδεση στον Windows Server 2012" height="271" src="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-06.png" srcset="http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-06.png 640w, http://www.techster.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/disable-server-manager-logon-2012-r2-06-300x127.png 300w" width="640" /></p>

<p style="text-align:center;">

	Δείτε πώς να αλλάξετε τις βασικές ρυθμίσεις του WSUS από το Configuration Wizard μετά από την εγκατάσταση στον Windows Server 2008 R2.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Αμέσως μετά την εγκατάσταση του WSUS στον Windows Server 2008 R2 θα εκκινήσει αυτόματα ο οδηγός γρήγορης «παραμετροποίησης» του WSUS Server. (Windows Server Update Services Configuration Wizard). Μέσω του οδηγού μπορείτε να ρυθμίσετε ορισμένες από τις βασικές λειτουργίες του WSUS Server, ωστόσο κάθε ρύθμιση μπορεί να αλλάξει μεμονωμένα ανά πάσα στιγμή μέσα από την ενότητα Options της διαχειριστικής κονσόλας.
</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">

<p style="text-align:center;">
	Επίσης, από την ίδια ενότητα μπορείτε να εκκινήσετε εκ νέου τον Configuration Wizard σε περίπτωση που δεν είχατε ολοκληρώσει τη διαδικασία αμέσως μετά από την εγκατάσταση.
</p>

<h2 style="text-align:center;">
	Ρυθμίζοντας τον WSUS με το Configuration Wizard στον Windows Server 2008 R2
